Johnston & Murphy's award winning flagship came to life via partner Nick Zalany's sketches. The main level features rich warm finishes and elegantly placed products, but the sculptural main staircase is the store's dramatic center. Upon ascending, the visitor finds themselves in a small museum to the history of the company. With the space's careful lighting and hand painted murals, it lifts the merchandise within it to the level of fine art.
